Author: Journey Through Life

I say I'm just your average suburban man that has good morals in life enjoys what I have around me as family and friends and many other things that come with life. Over the years I have worked with different occupations as a sports coach, Gardner, photographer & now in civil construction with roads as I say all experiences of life. Been on my own for 23 years now Mmm a long time but it is what it is... I have two great adult kids who have been a major part of my life, and two great-grandkids that are a very special part of my life, and enjoy being with them all the time. Life if anything has had its ups and downs at the age of sixty-three there have been a few goods, very good, excellent, down, big downers but all in all, I'm glad I wake up every day to see another day and what it has installed for me. One thing I have learnt understand yourself learn about yourself and keep taking small steps to improve with the man in the mirror and your life. #Journey Through Life...

Embracing The First Long Weekend.

Getting three days off is always a great feeling! It's a much-needed break to recharge and do things I enjoy. I can relate to the excitement of having a three-day break after working eleven days. It's that time for me to relax, unwind, and make the most of the days off. Whether it's catching up …

What Books Do I want To Read?

Do I find myself a bookworm, into reading many books? No, LOL. Such an easy answer. While I may not consider myself a bookworm immersed in the pages of many books, I do enjoy taking the time to read when the opportunity arises. Furthermore, I often find that podcasts offer a convenient alternative, particularly when …

Finding Light In The Darkness:

Light in the darkness is something I look for regularly now and I really don't understand the reason why I get down so much. Also, I want to be on my own; the feeling of company is something I don't want or feel will make me feel tightness with anxiety. Let's be honest, it's not …

My Name- Meaning- Signifincance- Etymology, etc.

It's interesting to know the meaning of your name. Mmm Paul Mmm what's so significant about a common name at that. Paul has a rich history and cultural significance. The name Paul gained widespread popularity due to the apostle Paul. Also, he was known as Saint Paul. Haha, maybe I'm a saint now, but not …

Where Have I Felt Loved?

Been SO LongSince That Feeling Of True LovePm. It’s been so long and as I think about it, the feeling of emptiness comes really strong, but I have to say I’m pretty use to that and you would after 25 years being a lone. I have two good friends with benefits which is company more …

If I Had My Own Freeway BillBoard?-What Would It Say?

That is an interesting question in so many ways, and it's funny driving down south along the freeway the other day; every billboard was advertising for companies on their specials for sale. But each billboard is about spending money, which gets into our heads (that's a good bargain), and nine times out of ten, we …

The Joy Of Solitude: A 65-Year-Olds Journey In Life.

Part (1) Short Storie. On the outskirts of Perth, in a very quiet and somewhat secluded suburb called Helena Valley, is what I call home at the moment and one that I really enjoy being a part of the community. I'm known as Mags to my friends and workmates, but lately, they have been calling …

Renewing Goals & Aspirations For 2024!

If anything were to be said, a powerful practice for the upcoming year is setting goals that might need to be done, can benefit your progress in life, or are unrealistic. For whatever reason we do it every year by setting a goal that we want to achieve for personal growth or just plain happiness …

The Passionate Pursuit Of Music!

I'm sitting out the back with my mate Tummer, the dog. Lol having a Carlton Cold with a switch to Baileys and Ice. Mmm, I love it straight, don't worry about the milk. Anyway, it's New Year's Eve and I'm in a trance with a great sound system, listening to my music—a collection of 26 …
