My Name- Meaning- Signifincance- Etymology, etc.

It’s interesting to know the meaning of your name. Mmm Paul Mmm what’s so significant about a common name at that.

Paul has a rich history and cultural significance. The name Paul gained widespread popularity due to the apostle Paul. Also, he was known as Saint Paul. Haha, maybe I’m a saint now, but not when I was younger. Saint Paul was an influential figure in the early Christian church and wrote many letters, or epistles, that are included in the New Testament.

It’s a popular name that can be found in various cultures and countries around the world. It has been consistently used as a given name for boys in many Western countries, including Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

The meaning and symbolism of Paul is “small” or “humble.” It signifies traits such as modesty, simplicity, and a down-to-earth nature. People with this name are often seen as reliable, hardworking, and practical.

Paul has different variations in different languages. In Spanish, it is “Pablo,” and in French, it’s “Paulin.” Common nicknames for Paul include Paulie (that’s what my daughter calls me), Pauly, and Paulo.

I have to say, after doing some searching on my name, I can say I’m very reliable when it comes to work or when I’ve made a commitment. A hard worker definitely. I’m 65 and still working hard, haha. Oh well, I’d like to think that I have a strong sense of responsibility with dedication towards my job and family life, I’m not driven by a desire for attention or recognition but rather by a genuine desire to contribute and make a difference.

I’m very easy to approach and get along with. I connect with people from all walks of life. Yes, I’m very down to earth and say it as I see it, but in a good way. Now, I might have worked out why I’m still single of 25 years. In a relationship, I value authenticity, trust, and loyalty, with respect and kindness. Lol, maybe I’m asking for too much. NOW i see that i value self-discipline, the importance of self-control that I do value a lot in my life, focused on my goals and commitments – very much so – motivated as for my own personal growth even when challenges are thrown at me – as for that the last week or so been fighting depression and finding it hard in my dark little mind but getting there.

I like to think I control my life as I do with the independence of 25 years. I would control my life, lol, with the desire to achieve my goals. So all in all, Paul is not a bad name, and yes, I’m not too bad a guy if I think so myself, lol, definitely not modest, haha.
