That’s a great question. Life changes bring new choices and start new chapters for growth. With each experience, such as changing jobs or moving, we face challenges that test our resilience. We learn about ourselves and accept change, as it leads to new possibilities and personal development that shape who we are.
Time can be divided into hours, minutes, days, nights, weeks, months, and years. Each unit of time represents a different facet of our lives and contributes to the experiences that shape who we are. For whatever it is, life teaches us to make good use of time, encouraging us to be mindful of how we allocate our moments. In contrast, time itself teaches us the value of life, reminding us that each fleeting second is precious and should be cherished. As we navigate through various phases of life, it’s essential to embrace the lessons that time imparts, allowing us to grow and learn from every experience, ultimately leading to a deeper appreciation for both time and the life we live.

Life and time are great teachers. Life shows us how to use time, while time shows us the Value of life.
For me, it was being taught for a long period in life.
The challenges thrown at me, my daughter, my grandkids, my family, and my friends took a substantial amount of time to justify in life, requiring deep reflection and resilience as we navigated tough circumstances together. Each hurdle, whether it was a personal struggle or a collective obstacle, tested our strength and unity, forcing us to confront our values and beliefs. Through these trials, we learned valuable lessons about perseverance, the importance of support from loved ones, and the necessity of embracing life’s changes.
Being a Part of Life Situations by Watching and Learning.
My daughter, grandkids, and family were another learning point in my life, showing me how they handled things I wouldn’t want anyone in life to experience. I’m not getting into full details as I feel there are certain things in life thats kept close to the heart. My daughter and her two kids went through domestic violence, one that wasn’t pretty at all. Tara was so strong, not just for herself but for the two kids and the family. She handled it with such inner strength, taking each step at a time, each challenge thrown her way. In her own way, she picks herself up. She looks forward, but what was it for me, the way she kept everyone positive, happy and going forward, the house had a great atmosphere, with that happy feeling for everyone.
I had my own major hurdles in life.
The old saying goes that our bodies are like cars; as we get older, we need service and parts. How true is that? My left hip needed a full replacement hip plate and all. It all started at the start of 2024.
The company dismissed me as a safety hazard due to issues with trucks and equipment. I faced ongoing challenges in life, including government assistance denial due to my savings, as my mobility worsened, and even basic tasks like walking, sitting, sleeping, and using the bathroom became increasingly difficult. Then the situation with my daughter and the kids was another hurdle added as they live with me; with that, I was right in the middle and couldn’t do much, just helped my daughter with many conversations and assisted with the two kids.
With what i was going through a very close mate lost half of his left leg under his knee through a bike accident, it was his attitude the way he looked at it and the challenges that were in front of him helped a lot, not that i like using some one else’s tragic to better mine, but Dave had the greatest attitude towards his loss of limb. I had waited 20 months before having the procedure done, and another 3 months for recovery and rehab, 99% of my savings had just gone with a fair bit of my super as well; that was just living, don’t do drugs or alcohol, just set daily, weekly, monthly goals, stay postive with ever corner, hurdle and the challenges in life.
