What Was My Ideal Day…

I have a few in life, but the most memorable would be the birth of my kids; that was so special, both different scenarios, but both were so memorable.

Wade was the first one. That was a funny sort of birth, as Maree needed to have a cesarean. We were booked in for 9 am and would be at the hospital at 7.30 am to be prepared for the birth. We were so excited the night or the week and couldn’t stop talking about it. As for a lady, the first birth was different, as Maree wanted it to be natural, which is understandable. As for that, it was right out of the question. Wade was going to be a massive baby through the measurements and tests they did.

As I looked at the clock on the wall, it was 8:50 am. The surgeon came for the procedure; the nurses and midwife had been there most of the morning with Maree. I looked above the bed at the clock; it was 8:55 am. The sheet went up, I was told to go down the other end where Maree’s head was rested, the surgeon talked to the nurses and did his thing, and at 9:02 am, my first child was born just like that ten pounds five.

Our second was like a normal birth. Maree was yelling at me at 3 a.m.- it’s time! Wow, it could have been the fastest I had jumped out of bed in a while. Lol. All set load the bag in the car, grab Wade and his bag, help the lady of the hour to the car, a quick call on the way to grandma’s.

Let’s skip the drive-in with my hand getting squeezed with exceptional strength, followed by a lot of abuse and screaming. Haha, it’s all a part of birth, I think. Maree went into full labour for 36 hours, and I got bared from the gas bottle several times, Lol, out came Tara nine pounds, i must admit watching the full birth of the second and the cesarean with the first they were my ideal day’s.

We all have special ideal days that we never forget or want to forget. I’d say I had plenty of both, but the birth of my two kids was unique. To follow up was going into the hospital to see my grandchildren for the first time is undoubtedly there that was special to see my daughter, and her first followed by the second, was a tremendous ideal day. Lol.

  1. Cisterns are great it’s a great place to get water so that you can water your plants. the house that were inherited in Waukon Iowa and a pair of sisters in the basement and there was a pump in the kitchen the old sink. it’s a great way to reuse water that comes instead of just running off the roof and down the gutter and whatnot it comes inside and you can use it mix the best cream rinse. no harsh chemicals It’s like it’s like washing your hair and then rinsing it with vinegar works the same.
