In Perth or Australia today is Christmas Eve and it’s funny as it just seems like another day. But then comes the grandkids who put the shine back on Christmas, and they do. Kado is 13 and so excited even though he knows the truth about Father Christmas. My little granddaughter is the opposite, so excited, planning the biscuits and juice for the big fella, and carrots for the hardworking deers.
I have to say, if two kids are spoilt, that’s an understatement, LOL. I’m so glad for the kids, as they won’t be kids forever, with the enjoyment of one of the biggest days on the calendar. Ava tells me every night how Father Christmas is coming down the stove air duct and the biscuits she is leaving. I love sitting there and seeing the happiness and enjoyment on this little girl’s face. We’re Kado is going with it as he wants her to believe in Christmas for as long as she can. I’m so proud of him; he laughs and adds to the plan with the big night tonight. And yes, kids do make Christmas very much so, and yes, I’m enjoying every bit of it with them.
