Am I More Morning Or Night…

I’d like to say I’m good with both, and I would say yes, I am. You see, when I wake up in the mornings, I need around half an hour to thank God I have another day, lol. I go to the toilets I found. As I get older, I seem to stand a lot longer. Maybe the bladder stretched with age, lol. And then the gargle, face, teeth, look in the mirror and you’re okay buddy Haha, and then coffee and yes, I’m awake and chatting with a smile, the boys look at me with Mmm is he all there, but all good.

My kids wow, especially Toots. She is smiling and having fun with the kids. Tex takes a while to wake up, but in a good way. Kado is left alone, especially on school days. My son doesn’t go near him for at least an hour. He is quiet and keeps his thoughts to himself and then he’s good.

When I’m home, I love waking up with the kids and grandkids. It’s a great way to start the day. Happiness is the best medicine, and a smile tops it off. But I’d say I’ve been pretty much like that all my life. Even if I’m depressed, I try to look at the good side of life as well as the dark side.

You learn as we get older, life is so short it can be gone in a blink, or you can be happy and live with the flow of your life.

I know if I have a lady next to me waking up, nothing better than a cuddle, a smile, looking into her eyes with a kiss good morning. I do miss that, haha, but that’s another story if you ask me. I work away 11 days and have 3 off, and we are all over the place. But with that, it’s no one’s fault, the way we work for eleven days. So I wake up happy with a smile and look at it as a positive day, knowing I’ll be home soon with the family, and thoroughly enjoy my three days with them (so yeah, I’m a happy person in the mornings).

Night Person Mmm.

Lol what can I say? There was a time in life when the nightlife was my life, as I managed hotels in the eighties. That was a time when nightlife was active seven days a week. Every hotel had bands from all over Australia, and Perth had some of the biggest and best bands in the music industry. Yes, we went from there into the restaurant industry with a difference of entertainment. Yes, my 20s to 30s was one in which I was a night person, enjoying its magic to the fullest.

Then come the family and as it does, life changes and one for the better. Loved the idea of going to dinner parties at friends’ houses or a restaurant. Collaborates, yes, we changed in some ways, well, a lot of ways, different jobs of employment. Two great kids and still enjoying the nightlife, but slower and different with many laughs and the enjoyment of our kids growing up with two cool parents that showed them life is really good if you go on the right roads.

Now, when I have free time, I go out with my children and grandchildren to try different types of food at restaurants. Afterwards, we sometimes go to see live bands or watch movies while enjoying a late dinner. I truly love these evenings. Despite getting older, I have experienced many different ways to enjoy the night, and I still enjoy them. Life goes through cycles as we age, but it doesn’t mean we have to completely adopt an older mindset. I believe it’s important to stay youthful in our thoughts and enjoy life, regardless of our age.
