Your first impression is highly important – well, that’s the way I see it, and I believe that it often sets the tone for any future interactions or relationships. It does significantly impact how others receive you and determine whether they will form positive or negative opinions about you.
The very first impression can create trust, credibility, and interest, while a poor one can make it difficult to overcome initial judgments. Therefore, it’s crucial to be mindful of how you present yourself and strive to make a positive and lasting impression.
For Me!
Just be me, no one else. I don’t believe in trying to impress people by being false. I believe people take you for who you are and the way you present your first impression. When I was photographing major sports, I dealt with major sportsmen who were very professional, same with the CEO and managers. For being just me, it kept my contract for over ten years.
The same when I was coaching, as I had to deal with 30 to 50 footballers in the program, parents, sisters, brothers, grandparents, and everyone else. I would approach it with confidence and just be myself. I did that for over thirty years. It’s funny, I can’t find love and I’m just being me, no one else. But my friends with benefits keep texting and ringing me to see when I’m back in town. LOL, that cracks me up, but it’s all good.
The specific relevant content for this request, if necessary, delimited with characters:SO yes, the importance of first impression is a big thing in today’s society and the way people judge you, which is harsher than 20 years ago. There is a saying “never judge a book by its cover.” That’s the way it is today. Many years ago, you could walk up to someone and just say “g’day.” Now, that’s not accepted in some ways. But just be you, yourself, and honest with the person you want to be, and life will be okay. Be a wanker, and life goes in different directions and makes it harder.“`
