My Number One !
Keep doing what I’m doing in life, help and be there for the kids, wake up with a smile and be grateful I have another day ahead of me. I’ve been working on my health and weight, which is going well. I need to keep with that formula. In doing so, make it a priority to stay focused and keep working towards my goals for better health.
We start our season, as they call it, by hitting the road to different destinations with our work in civil – fixing and maintaining new and old roads. It’s going to be a long season as we were told nine months with living out of a suitcase, hotel, motel, or the odd resort if we are lucky with accommodation.
So, my number one, add a two and a three. LOL! Get my bags ready, stock up with toiletries, shampoo, good coffee, and get my head ready to go, 5am Monday morning, spend as much time with the kids and grandkids, catch up with Mum and Dad, and a few friends. As we do 11 days on, 3 days off, it’s a pretty tough shift, but I can’t ignore the money. For a period of nine months, it’s my ticket to Vietnam next year! LOL.
Remember, tomorrow is a chance to prioritze what truely matters to you and take the action towards that is needed to truly get what you want.
Some would be taking different directions !
Some of us throughout the world wouldn’t be so lucky with minor priorities that would be in front of them through wars, dictating government, the natural disasters we have occurred lately in different countries. Some people’s lives are just getting through day by day. For some, life is hard, which can bring sorrow and despair. So, with this in mind, most of us are pretty lucky in Australia. Also, there are families and individuals who are struggling in life with everyday living in our county.
If I had a number one priority and I could make a difference, it would be for a better and happier world. Id aim to improve health, schooling for kids, and get rid of the dictators that make this world a ticking time bomb ready to explode. I know I can’t do it alone, but I do donate regularly to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and the homeless. I pray and wish that things would improve, especially for my kids and grandkids, as they are growing up amidst these challenges every day.
If It’s A Priorty You’ll Find A Way. If It Isn’t You’ll Find An Excuse.
